December 17, 2007

Mom - I'm busy working on presents for Christmas.  We're all done shopping, but have to wrap everything still.  We leave for Utah on Saturday.

Dad - Only three more days of seminary until vacation starts.  We won our basketball game this week.  I went golfing with some players from softball and shot a 93.

Parker - I lost two teeth on Saturday.  I went to Pixar on Saturday with my scout leaders and saw how big it was.  The next movie coming out is Wall-E.  On Friday I went to Trever's house after school and went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks.  It has to be the best movie ever.  We got a Game Cube from Travis Kupp.

Conner - We get out of school on Thursday.  It is out last day.  We're leaving for Utah on Saturday to see Grandma and Grandpa Burr.  Parker, Calissa, and I saw Santa Claus 3 at Grandma's house on Tuesday.  I came down with a cold and can't stop coughing.  I went ice skating to Walnut Creek on Ice.

Calissa - I like Jack Frost.  I had a Holiday Concert today at school.  We wore reindeer hats and sang holiday songs.  My favorite song is Dreidel.  High School Musical 3 is coming out next Christmas.

December 10, 2007

Parker - I had my birthday and we played soccer, kickball, and football.  I went to the store with Uncle Drew and got some really cool games.  We just started our 2nd week of short days at school.

Conner - I went to Kyle's birthday party.  It was fun.  I got Kyle a paper airplane book and a gift card.  On Saturday we went on a bike ride on the canal trail.  We saw a blue herring.  I'm feeling sick. I'm going ice skating tomorrow on a field trip.

Calissa - We went on a bike ride to the park on Saturday.  I cut my own hair on Saturday night.  Mom and dad are not happy.  I went to get it fixed today.

Mom - I'm trying to get the rest of the Christmas shopping done.  My piano recital was on Friday night.  The boys played well.  I'm sewing some Santa Bags for our friends and teachers.

Dad - We won our basketball game on Thursday night.  The piano recital was nice on Friday and we went to a Christmas party on Saturday.  Only 2 more weeks until vacation.

November 26, 2007

Parker - I did a lot of homework last week.  On Tuesday, we went to the Pulu's house and played all day.  On Thursday we went to breakfast at the church, then Dad, Conner and I went to the park to play football with other members of our ward.  We went to dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  My favorite things were the orange salad and rolls.  On Friday we saw Enchanted.  On Saturday we went to Logan Chan's birthday party at the Jungle and got 700 tickets!

Conner - I was spotlight on Sunday with Kyle.  I got a green flashlight.  I'm going to Kyle's birthday party on Saturday.  Enchanted was a good movie.  I caught 4 or 5 passes at the football game on Thanksgiving.  I almost got a kick off return touchdown.  It was a fun day.

Dad - I played basketball and football on Thanksgiving.  We had a nice dinner. I got a spot bonus today at work.

Calissa - I liked seeing Kyrsten today.  I missed her on vacation.  I liked the movie Enchanted.

Mom - I'm trying to get ready for Christmas.  There is a lot to do.  It's hard to decide what to give everyone.  The kids went back to school today so I have a little bit more time to do some things while the kids are at school.

Calissa - I loved the cruise!  I like the water slide and the Mickey pool.  I'm happy that I know how to swim.

Mom - I'm sad to be home from the cruise.  We had such a wonderful time!  We all got along really well and did so many things together.  The islands were great, the food, the entertainment - It was all fabulous!  It exceeded my expectations.

Parker - We went on a fabulous, great, wonderful, magical Disney Cruise!  It was a huge ship almost 1,000 feet long and could hold 3500 people.  Some of my favorite activities such as: Oceans Quest, Oceans Lab & ping pong.  One night we had a pirate party with pirates and fireworks.  We went on 3 islands.  St. Martin, St. Thomas, & Castaway Cay.  Castaway Cay and St. Martin were my favorite islands.  Every night our room host made animals out of towels.  We got pillow cases signed by a bunch of Disney characters.

Dad - Our cruise was so awesome that we are members of the club now, but I had more than 300 emails at work.  Our softball team ended up undefeated.

Conner - All the towel creations on our cruise had mom's sunglasses on it.  I liked the shows in the theater.  I like the ventriloquist - She was funny.  We bought a CD of Twice Charmed.  We have a week off of school.  Dad has 2 more days of work this week.  We're going to have turkey on Thanksgiving.

Calissa - I like pretending to do Sudoku.  I went to the dentist today.

Conner - I got new shoes on Saturday from Big 5.  I went to Barnes & Noble and spent my gift certificate. We sang for Stake Conference.  We leave on the cruise in 3 more days!

Parker - We sang in Stake Conference - the first time I've been on the stage.  I used some of my money to buy a Garfield book.  It was Daylight savings time yesterday so I got a lot of sleep.

Dad - Our softball team won a close one - 8-7.  We are now 5-9 with 2 games left.  I'm trying to get everything done before we leave on Friday.

Mom - I'm sick, so I'm laying down to get better before our cruise.

Parker - I had my first day of GATE science today.  I brought home two rats - Denali & Mercedes.  I ran the mile today in 6 minutes, 17 seconds.  I'm hoping to have $64 for the cruise.

Conner - I had my last soccer game Saturday and team party.  I got a cool trophy. I knew 3 people on the other team.  I finished my graph project yesterday.  I graphed the coins left for Book Fair.

Calissa - I had my last soccer game and had my team party.  I love my trophy.  I got a movie of my soccer team.  The songs are cool.

Mom - I finished with Book Fair.  We sold $12,500 in books.  It was fun, but I'm glad it's over.  Now, we're getting ready for Halloween and our cruise.

Dad - I picked up the cruise documents today.  I hit for the cycle in my softball game again this week.  We are 4-0.

October 22, 2007

Conner - I have my last soccer game on Saturday and then we will go to my team party.

Calissa - I had a soccer game on Saturday.  My friend Bella from my preschool was on the other team.  I learned how to do addition and subtraction.  I did 10 pages the past 2 days.

Parker - I had my last soccer game on Saturday.  We lost 3-1.  It's the middle of the Book Fair. We get to stay at school for a while this week.  My back stopped hurting.

Dad - We won our softball game 16-7.  I hit for the cycle - we joked it was because of the steroids I'm taking for my throat.  Less than 3 weeks until we will be on our cruise.

Mom - is still at Book Fair - She has been really busy.

October 15, 2007

Calissa - I had a soccer game on Saturday.  Our team scored 4 goals.  The other team scored 5 or 6.  I got a big pumpkin on our field trip to the Smith Family Farm.

Parker - We went to see Game Plan on Saturday.  It was funny - about a quarterback and an unexpected daughter.  My soccer game was canceled because it rained a lot the day before. It was pouring on Friday.

Conner - I'm doing the lesson today about Joseph Smith.  It will help me get my religious knot. I got hurt at school today on the blacktop.  I scraped my knee.

Dad - I had my endoscopy this week.  It went well and they found out I have some type of esophagitis - inflammation that causes difficulty swallowing.  Parker got his arrow of light on Thursday.  My neck also hurt really bad last week but it's feeling better now.

Mom - Book Fair starts this week.  I haven't been walking with Jennie lately because Jeff had surgery.  It's really dark in the mornings.

Ruth Ann - It feels good to be sitting in FHE with the family.

October 8, 2007

Conner - I had a soccer game on Saturday.  We played against the Transformers.  I knew Haden on the other team.  I finished something for my religious knot in my Faith in God book.  I made a gumball machine in scouts.

Mom - I'm busy with the Book Fair.  It's coming next Thursday.  I'm getting excited about it.  It's a busy time, but fun. I'm getting really excited about the cruise.  It'll be here in 4 1/2 weeks!

Parker - I had 2 soccer games this week.  We lost both of them.  I've been reading Harry Potter and I'm on the 5th book.  I ran the mile in 6:28 last week.

Dad - I'm in pain.  I hurt my neck again.  I'm having an endoscopy on Wednesday.  We started our softball season and won 13-2.

Calissa - I had a soccer game.  The other team won even though they were small.  We're going to have centers tomorrow. We're going to have Motor Skills on Wednesday.

Conner - My game was canceled on Saturday.  I scored 2 goals in my game last week.  We played the Sharks and I knew 2 people on their team.  I was the Star Student last week and it was fun.  I took a picture with my teacher and I brought my mom to school one day.  On Friday, everyone wrote me a letter.

Parker - I had games on Saturday and Tuesday.  We lost both of them.  I was goalie in the 1st half of one game.  I stopped lots of shots and they scored 3 times.  We had milkshakes that night at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Calissa - One day last week I scratched my elbow and knee.  I went on a bus today.  I love kindergarten.

Dad - I've been reffing soccer games for the kids.  The uniform is pretty ugly.  I had to go to the ED last week because I couldn't swallow.  They gave me an IV and some drugs and it eventually went down.

Mom - I've been busy with library and the directory.  Now I'm working on Book Fair. I'm working in Calissa's class on Tuesdays. I'm getting ready for our cruise.  I've lost 20 pounds since January.

Calissa - We went to Waterworld last week.  I started Kindergarten today and I like my new teacher.  I like to play with Kyrsten.

Conner - I started 2nd grade today.  I'm going to be baptized this Saturday, September 1st.

Dad - I went golfing with my new clubs last week - they worked great!  I also took off part of a day and went to Waterworld.  We finished painting our bedroom on Saturday.  Work is crazy right now.  Seminary starts in a week.

Parker - We went to Waterworld on Friday but I was feeling sick halfway through.  School started today - we're the kings of the school.  I got new shoes on Saturday, but they got muddy today.

August 20, 2007

Calissa - I found out who my teacher is for Kindergarten.  I have Ms. Zeppegno.  I'm excited to start school.  I scores a goal at each of the last two games.  We are the Green Mermaids.

Parker - My new teacher is Mrs. Campos. I'm doing good at soccer practice.  We are the Red Bulls.  We went to the swim lagoon last Monday.  We had lots of fun.  On Friday we went to Old Town Sacramento and went to a museum and got lots of candy at the candy store.

Mom - We went to Eli's baptism on Saturday and had a nice time.  I'm painting our bedroom and hope to get it finished this week.  We had the Back to School Bonanza today for Monte Gardens.

Conner - I like the candy that we got in Old Town Sacramento.  I'm saving up for the cruise and I have $15.77.  My soccer team is called the Black Attack.  My new teachers are Mrs. Phillips & Mrs. Evans.  They are the same teachers that Parker had in the 2nd grade. I took my school pictures in my new classroom.

Dad - We won our softball game 16-3. I got 4 hits.  We have 2 weeks left until seminary starts.

Ruth Ann - I'm excited because God is healing me.  I've had a miracle in my life.

Calissa - We're going to go swimming tomorrow at the Pulu's.  We're starting soccer.  Dad is my coach.  Our first game is on Saturday.  I like the movie "The Testaments." We went on the canoe.

Parker - My first soccer practice is tomorrow night.  We went camping last week with the Smith's.  There were bears there.  I gave a talk last Sunday about families.  I wrote it all by myself.

Dad - We had a fun time camping.  We got to skip rocks.  We saw lots of bats.  We say lots of very big trees.

Conner - I had my first soccer practice last week.  My birthday is coming up this week.  We bought Eli a basketball hoop for pool for his birthday.  I bought my own birthday gifts today.

Mom - I'm speaking on Sunday at church.  We had a fun time camping.  I'm trying to finish working on some quilts for Christopher and a lady at school.

July 30, 2007

Calissa - I had fun with our new sprinkler.  We went to the March's pool to swim on Saturday.  We also went to the swim lagoon when Kevin and Kellie were here.  Swimming lessons are almost over.

Parker - I'm on level 2 of swimming lessons.  We're going swimming again tomorrow at the March's.  We might get a pool like theirs someday.

Mom - We're trying to get ready for school to start.  I'm sewing a quilt for someone.  I'm enjoying going to the exercise class on Tuesday/Thursday mornings at the church.

Dad - We are going camping this Thursday thru Saturday.  Work is still very busy but we are making it.  Our softball team lost again last week.  The golf tournament was on Saturday and everyone had a great time.

Conner - We are starting soccer soon.  I'm on level 1 for swimming but I'm doing really well.  I can hit a golf ball really hard.

Calissa - Today we went to the outlets with Uncle Drew, Aunt Tina, and Christopher.  He bought us a net to catch butterflies.  We got some treats from the Jelly Belly Store.  We went to Utah for vacation over the 4th of July.  We're going on a Disney Cruise in November.

Dad - Our Dodger trip got cancelled.  Softball has started again.  Our team got killed the first game.  One of my employees is on maternity leave and one is gone with cancer.  Things are really busy at work.

Conner - My back is really sunburned.  We went to the Pulu's new house and now we are pealing!  All the blisters popped.

Mom - We had a really fun time in Utah for Stadium of Fire.  Brooks and Dunn performed & Corbin Bleu.  The fireworks were incredible and we had a great time.  We are going on a Disney Cruise and we are really excited!

Parker - We saw Ratatouille while we were in Utah.  I finished my K'Nex building roller coaster yesterday.  Soccer is starting in August.  Summer is half over!

Christopher was born on June 27th.

June 3, 2007

Parker - We went swimming with the Smith's yesterday and stayed for dinner.  I had 2 games this week.  We beat the Dodgers 15-5 and lost to the Giants 3-2.

Conner - I have one game left.  We will be in 1st place no matter what happens.  I'm reading "Santa Paws."

Dad - My softball team finished with a 7-3 record.  We start the playoffs this week.  Seminary is over for the year - it will be missed  but I'm grateful for the extra sleep.

Mom - I've been very busy and got sick this weekend.  My piano recital was Friday night.  I have one more quilt to sew.  It will be busy until the end of the school year.

Calissa - I had my birthday - my party was at Build a Bear.  I also graduated from preschool and went to Pixie Playland. We also went to Pismo Beach for the weekend.
