Parker - is away at Scout Camp this week.

Conner - We went to Sky High twice.  It was really fun.  The 2nd time we played dodge ball for 2 hours.  Parker went to Tahoe for a week and I missed him a lot.  My all-star team got the 2nd most wins in our league.  We went 3-2.

Calissa - School ended.  We had an Invention Convention.  I was baptized on June 19th.  Grandma and Grandpa Burr came for a week and we went to Pismo.  The last day of school we had a game day.

Mom - We've had a fun summer so far.  We've stayed busy.  We're adjusting to Travis being the Bishop.  I taught RS yesterday,  It went really well.  I signed up to do a triathlon sprint.  400 yard swim, 11 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.

Dad - We had a great week of vacation at Pismo Beach, seeing Wicked, and at Muir Woods.  I had to conduct my first funeral.  I got to baptize our youngest child.  It's been a busy month!

Parker - I went to Trever's house twice to sleep over and went to his birthday party.  It was an air-soft war.  10 days left of school and counting!  Yippee! We have the last piano recital on Friday.

Mom - I'm having computer issues - not fun! I'm trying to get the DVD done this week since Conner's team party is on Saturday. My 5K race is this Saturday.  Hope I can make it!!  We did a lot of yardwork this weekend.

Dad - We tied our last softball game and ended up in 5th place.  It's been a busy month!  Tomorrow is June!

Conner - I did a Power Point Presentation about basketball on Friday.  Some people said it was the best one.  I had a baseball game last week an we beat the Dodgers 10-0. I got a double and helped get 3 outs.  There are 10 more days of school!

Calissa - I just got a new piano and puppy purse.  They are really cool!  My birthday was last Tuesday.  I had my birthday party a week ago Saturday at Liberty Gymnastics again.  It was lots of fun!

Parker - I hit a foul ball off my foot against the Lafayette team.  We won 9-8.  I finished my word problem project and I did it all by myself.  One month of school left - yipee!

Conner - We had a double header on Saturday.  We won our first game against the Dodgers.  Our 2nd game we got crushed against the Yankees.  We're finishing up STAR testing this week.  I fouled off a couple of pitches in the 2nd game yesterday.

Calissa - We had strawberry shortcake for dessert tonight.  My birthday us coming up and my party is before my birthday.

Dad - Conner and I went and did some service for Mormon Helping Hands.  We had a busy week.  I survived my first week as Bishop. One week down, 259 to go.  =)

Mom - We had a busy week with 6 baseball games in 6 days.  I'm teaching RS next Sunday.  I've had a nice Mother's Day today.

Parker - Dad is the Bishop.  Baseball is going well.  I got straight A's.

Conner - Dad is the Bishop.  Grandma and Grandpa Burr came to visit for less than a day. Star testing if going to start next week.  Dad is going to try and coach for the rest of the season, but he doesn't know about next year.

Mom - I'm the Bishop's wife!  Today was a very spiritual day, I felt the Spirit really strong.  I love Travis.

Calissa - I was the star student a couple of weeks ago.

Dad - I'm the new Bishop - it's a new adventure.

Mom - We had a fun Spring Break - but it was very busy!  We got to see all of my brothers and their families this last week and we enjoyed going to Pismo Beach.  The melodrama was "Lumberjacks in Love." I subbed in Kindergarten today. 

Conner - We won our baseball game 13-2 vs. the Yankees. We went to Pismo Beach.  Our cousins came to visit.  It was Spring Break.  We went to see "How to Train Your Dragon."

Calissa - It was Abby's birthday on Saturday.  We went to Pixieland.  Soccer season is almost coming.  My birthday is coming up.  I'm going to have my party at Liberty Gymnastics.

Parker - I went to see all 5 sessions of General Conference last weekend.  It was a great experience!  At one of the Bishops friend's house, we got to meet David Archuleta. It took the boys and the leaders singing, but he finally sang for us.  I went to Pismo and while we were there I climbed up a gigantic rock and got whacked in the head by a shovel while I was buried.

Dad - We had a fun conference trip to Utah!  I went golfing in Pismo Beach. Now it's back to work!

April 26, 2010 - We went to the Smith's house and did some service.  We helped them plant their garden.

Parker - Baseball has started.  My team is 1-1 and I've made a bunch of great plays.  I've yet to get a hit though.  I bought 3 new books (Fablehaven 5 & 2 Pokemon books).  I got my first perfect score on my Math test and a perfect score on my Science test.  I gave a talk yesterday on hope.  I got new plaid shorts.

Calissa - Kaitlyn took me home and then we had a playdate and then she took me to her dance class and I'm begging mom to let me start dance.  I lost a tooth and got $2 from the tooth fairy. I got a new Littlest Pet-shop Game for the DS.

Conner - I started baseball and our team is 4-1.  I went to Marielle's party on Saturday.

Mom - I've been busy subbing. I had a nice quiet day at home today.  I taught RS last Sunday and played a piano solo.

Dad - is umpiring tonight.

March 14, 2010

Parker - Opening Day was yesterday.  It went well.  We won both of our playoff games for basketball.  I had my Gold Card Lunch at Chiptole. 

Calissa - We had Opening Day for baseball.  Kaitlyn and Lauren were there,  We took turns going down the slide. I did a Cannonball.  I have more than enough money to buy my favorite DS game.  I have $30 or $31.  I sang with the ward choir today, "He is Risen!"

Conner - We had Opening Day. I'm going to have my first game tomorrow night and then we're going for milkshakes at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Dad - We play in the finals of the regional basketball tournament this weekend.  Our softball season starts on Wednesday.

Mom - I've subbed 5 days already this month.  I finally gave the house a good clean last Tuesday.

Calissa - I passed gymnastics level 1 and they gave me a note that says "Super Star." I passed level 1 on March 5th.  We raised money and they gave me a water bottle, jump rope, pop toy, and a t-shirt.  I have more than enough money to buy my DS game.  Sister Hill came over and gave me a Pez, a St. Patrick's garland, and some other St. Patrick's Day stuff. (A chime and M&M's)

Parker - We got Ultimate Alliance 2 off E-bay.  We won our first basketball playoff game for church.  I have a weird rash.

Conner - We had our first two practice games and I pitched in the 2nd one.  I got invited to Manelle's birthday party.  Grandpa got me and Parker these huge remote control helicopters.

Dad - We wont our last basketball game. I turned down the job at Kaiser.  WE got to listen to the General SS President and help park all the cars.

Mom - I've subbed the last 3 days.  Opening Day is on Saturday for baseball. I need to clean the house because it's really dirty!

Calissa - I got a new journal and I've been writing in it.  I write 2 pages or less each day.  My fingernails look horrible.

Conner - We had baseball practice today and I couldn't hit anything.  We did testing for PE - the mile, push-ups, and sit-ups.  I got a 9:16 mile, did 12 sit-ups, and some push-ups.  I'm going to the dentist on Thursday.  We really want to get Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 or Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

Parker - I had a snow camp out on Friday and Saturday.  It was very cold.  One of the tents collapsed and we built an igloo.  We also had a massive snowball fight.  My school basketball team is in the semi-finals.

Dad - The snow camp was quite the adventure.  Lots of snow, we got stuck, but it was fun.  I've been offered a regional job and am trying to decide whether or not to take it.

Mom is at the scorekeeper's clinic tonight.

Mom - Haven't been subbing much lately.  We've been really busy after school each day!

Calissa - I left 3 of my jackets at school and my lunch box.  I came home today with 4 jackets and a lunch box.  I almost have passed off level 1 at gymnastics.  I only have one more thing to pass off.

Conner - We've started baseball practice.  I'm on the Rockies.  We did our science fair project.  I got 20/20! We went and saw the "Lightning Thief" movie. It was pretty scary and different from the book.  We also went to Chuck E Cheese with Aunt Tina and Christopher.  I beat Aunt Tina at a soccer game.

Parker - I'm on the Giants this season for baseball. I had two birthday parties - one for Sam (we played air soft for like 4 hours).  I saw the "Lightning Thief" and had frozen yogurt for the other party.  I got my braces off.  Yippee! The first thing I did was chew gum!

Dad - I went to Arizona for a golf trip. We had a fun time!  I turned 39 last Tuesday.  I'm helping coach Conner's baseball team.

February 1, 2010

Calissa - I lost another tooth and got $2.  We watched the movie, "Forever Strong."  I'm almost ready to pass off level 1 at gymnastics.  We jump roped today from 9:00-9:10 to try and break the Guinness Book of World Records.

Conner - I lost a tooth last bight. I  finished my Mission Project and turned it in.  We watched "Forever Strong," a movie about Rugby.  One brutal game!  Some of my plants started to sprout for my Science Fair Project.

Parker - Quarter 2 is over.  Yippee! I went to Trever's house on Saturday and played with the air soft guns.  I got a 4.0 again.  I'm sick!

Dad - We won our basketball game on Saturday.  I've had a stiff neck,  I'm going to help coach Conner's baseball team.

Mom - I was an official judge for the Guinness Book of World Records at the kids' school/

Calissa - I had a playdate with Kyrsten on Saturday. It was really fun and she brought her Baby Alive too.  I got new socks.  I watched "Wizards of Waverly Place - Wizards vs. Werewolves."  The mummy was my favorite part.

Conner - We started my mission and science fair project on Saturday.  I had my baseball tryouts on Saturday.  I did pretty good.

Parker - I had two church basketball games.  We won one and lost one.  We won our first school basketball game today.  I did good and got 12 points.  I have A's in all of my classes.

Dad - We got lots of rain last week. Our house didn't flood.  We won one basketball game and lost one.

Mom - I taught RS on Sunday for the first time.  I think it went pretty well.  I don't teach again until March!

Conner - I went to the Warrior's game today.  I came in 3rd at the Pinewood Derby.  My car was named "Iceman." We got NBA Live 2K10.  It is awesome!

Parker - On Saturday we went to Kohl's and got new basketball shorts, to Yogurtland, and to Gamestop and got a new game for the Wii. I went to my first NBA basketball game today.  The Warrior's beat the Bulls 114-97.  I had a basketball game on Saturday and I had 4 points.

Dad - Pinewood Derby is over for good!  We lost our 1st game by one point.  It was sad.

Calissa - On Saturday I got a new white sweater.  I'm going to go bowling on the 26th for a field trip.

Mom - I'm teaching my first RS lesson on Sunday.  We cleaned the house today and went grocery shopping.  It's supposed to rain all week.

Mom - I finished our blog book for 2009 today.  It was 122 pages long.  I'm excited to preserve our family history in that way!

Calissa - We went back to school.  We built a fort (Conner & I).

Parker - I had my first two school basketball games.  The first one I did well and scored 12 points out of my team's 22.  We had church at 2:30 on Sunday and only Sacrament meeting.  It was really nice to sleep in and have a lot of time before church.  I chipped my front tooth at school and it's not getting fixed for another month.  Boo hoo!

Conner - We went back to school last week.  I'm working on my mission project and my science fair project.  For my mission, I'm doing a model.  My last Pinewood Derby is going to be on Thursday.

Dad - We had so many people to set apart yesterday that my arms got tired.  It's our family's last Pinewood Derby!  Hooray!

Conner - We had winter vacation.  We went to Utah and I got a laptop and Super Mario Bros. Wii for Christmas.  We went to Chuck E Cheese and I forgot my tokens. We started back to school again today.  I had PE.

Calissa - We went ice skating and tubing when we were in Utah. I got an iPod shuffle and a Baby Alive and a cupcake kit for Christmas.

Mom - We had a nice Christmas in Utah, but it's always nice to come home again.  We saw "Blind Side" on New Years Day and Cirque de Soliel - Ovo on Saturday in San Francisco.  I got a lot done today with the kids back to school.  I got a new calling - RS Teacher.  Hooray!

Parker - We went to Utah for Winter Break.  I had a lot of fun with my cousins when we were ice skating, tubing, or just plain having fun.  For Christmas I got a laptop and an awesome basketball.  I'm getting my braces off soon.

Dad - We had a fun time on Christmas vacation.  I took the van in today, but it was miraculously fixed.
