April 30, 2007

Conner- I'm going to pitch in my next game. We might go on the Amtrack this summer. I went on a field trip today to the Smith Family Farm. We got to ride on the tractor and see the fields. We got to look for worms.

Calissa- I like my bunny (finger puppet). I got some new Dora sandals. I also got a Hello Kitty bag.

Parker- We had lots of baseball games last week- we lost 3 and won 1. We play the Angels for the first time tomorrow. STAR testing starts tomorrow. We saw the Smiths' new house today.

Mom- We had the school auction on Friday night- I was there for about 14 hours that day. I went on Conner's field trip today. Teacher Appreciation Week is next week, so I'm planning some fun things. I've lost 10 pounds.

Dad- We were cashiers all night at the auction. The cash drawer got stuck- we tried to pry it open, but it wouldn't budge. I went in a closet and said a prayer and as I came out, Jen said, "I got it open!" The Lord cares about small things too. Our softball team is 5-0 and having fun.

April 9, 2007

Conner- We have a whole week off school this week. We're on vacation from school. Parker, Calissa, and I went to the El Dorado park and we fielded some balls that Mr. Sheehy and Uncle Drew hit.

Parker- Today was the first day of spring break. Today we went to the Chuck E Cheese and got 706 tickets. We are going to plant flowers this week. Tomorrow we are going to go to the park with the Pulus. My baseball team has 3 wins 2 losses.

Dad- Our Kaiser softball team is 2-0, but we have lots of injured players. We had some friends come this weekend. We had a nice Easter. No seminary this week.

Mom- The Castletons came to visit this last weekend. We enjoyed our visit with them and the Smiths. I finished one of the quilts in the auction, but still have two more to do before the end of the year. I've got lots of plans for spring break.

Calissa- I gave a talk yesterday at church about Easter. I had a nice Easter. I love what I got for Easter. Mom and I cleaned my room on Friday. It is clean!

April 2, 2007

Calissa- I started to clean my room today. I've been learning about letters at school. I get to give a talk on Sunday.

Parker- We had 2 baseball games this week. We won both of them. We beat the Dodgers 15-1 and we beat the Astros 4-3. We had the Sacramento field trip on Friday. We had a lot of fun- we got to buy a lot of candy and go on a lot of tours. I got my short-long arm cast today and I can almost bend my arm straight.

Conner- I have a baseball game tomorrow. Open House was last week. We have spring break next week.

Dad- We started our softball league and we won 9-8. We're up to section 130 in the D&C in seminary. We enjoyed general conference this weekend.

Mom- I went on the Sacramento field trip with Parker on Friday. We went on the Amtrack train. It was fun but we were tired when we got home. I'm busy sewing quilts for the auction at the school.
