December 15, 2008

Parker - I went on a scout camp out from Friday - Saturday.  It was a lot of fun.  We slept under the stars and went fishing.  We had our Christmas piano recital on Friday.  It went well.  I played my songs pretty good.  I had my first basketball game for YM.  We won by 19 and I got a rebound.  On Sunday I passed the sacrament for the first time.  I was nervous but I did OK.

Conner - There is one more week of school.  We're going to buy a Wii on the 29th.  We had our piano recital on Friday.  I did pretty good.

Calissa - Conner and Ellie and I spilled Lemonade on the floor in Mrs. Smith's class today after school.  I'm selling cards to  buy an animal to help take care of a family in another country.  I have $18 already.  I lost my first tooth last week.

Dad - I'm old!  We lost all of our basketball games so far this year.  One more week of seminary till the Christmas break.

Mom - I've been busy subbing for Mrs. Evans.  I've been busy trying to get ready for Christmas in my shortened spare time.  But, I've really enjoyed spending time in the classroom.

Yikes ... it's been a long time since we've had a formal FHE!

Calissa - I went to Kaitlyn's holiday party on Saturday.  We went to the temple and saw the Christmas lights, some statues, and a show with Jennie in it.  We went to Disney World.  My favorite ride was Splash Mountain.

Conner - My favorite ride was Mission Space.  It was really fun because you blast off to Mars.  Parker had his birthday party on Friday Night.  It's Christmas season and we just about have all of our stuff done.  My soccer team took 2nd place.

Parker - My favorite park was EPCOT.  My favorite ride was Test Track.  For soccer, my team came in first and advanced to the regionals.  We lost 4-1, 5-1, & 7-2. We have enough money to buy a Wii.  I had my birthday parry on Friday.  It was lots of fun.  We watched "Journey to the Center of the Earth" in 3D.  We played tag outside in the dark.  On Sunday I was ordained a deacon.  I can pass the sacrament now.  It was very special.

Mom - Lots has happened in hte last two months.  We had bookfair, our trip to Disney World, subbing, and getting ready for the Christmas recital on Friday.  Lots of busy times, but lots of fun!  We're getting ready for Christmas.  (PS - Disney World was fun!)

Dad - Our softball team came in 1st place this season. My favorite ride at Disney World was the Rockin' Roller-coaster at Hollywood Studios.  It's hard to believe that Parker is 12!

October 13, 2008

Calissa - I had strep throat and had to stay home from school for a while.  I had a field trip today at the fire station.  I need 2 more weeks of green cards to get a High School Musical book.  I'm going to be a cat for Halloween.

Conner - I lost my last soccer game 2-1.  We start the tournament a week from Saturday.  I'm going to be Harry Potter for Halloween.

Parker - My soccer team still only has 1 loss.  We beat the Mini Chivas 2-0 on Tuesday.  We beat American Canyon on Saturday 9-6.  I scored 4 goals and had an assist in that game.  For Halloween, I'm going to be a secret agent.

Mom - Book Fair starts on Thursday.  I subbed 2 days last week and enjoyed it.  I'll be living at the school for the next couple of weeks for Book Fair.

Dad - We won our first softball game of the Fall by a LOT!  Seminary is still going well - we had a training day this morning.

Conner - We won one soccer game and lost one this week.  We went to Dad's softball game on Thursday.  The Primary Program was on Sunday - we did good.

Calissa - I got 100% on my spelling test and got a perfect 4 on my fluency test last week.  I had fun at my soccer game on Saturday.

Parker - My soccer team won both our games this week.  I scored a bunch of goals.  The team on Saturday was rough.  I have 102% in math at school.  My talk went well in the Primary Program.  My friend Chase has cancer.

Mom - I did 2, half-day subs last week.  I'm getting ready for Book Fair.  I cleaned the whole house today.

Dad - We lost the championship softball game on Thursday.  It was 11-10 - not my best game.  It's been fun.  We have a BBQ for work tomorrow.

September 21, 2008

Parker - Soccer is going well.  We are 4 and 1.  I've scored over 10 goals so far this season.  It's been successful.  I had an overnight scout campout.  It was a ton of fun.  I was the cook for lunch and I made cheese sandwiches.  We went hiking a lot and there were rocks to climb everywhere.  The Primary Program is next Sunday.

Conner - I had two soccer games.  We lost both of them I think.  The season started.  We had soccer pictures today.  We got our school pictures.  I was the 1st star students.  It was fun.  I am rich.  I'm saving my money for a Wii.

Calissa - I got all green cards last week.  There were soccer pictures today.  I hope I get all green cards next week so I can get my High School Musical book.

Dad - We won our softball game in the playoffs.  I had two home runs.  I went on the campout with Parker.  I gave blood and saved a life.  I spoke in church a couple of weeks ago.  I was the only speaker because the other one got hurt.

Mom - I've subbed two days so far.  It's been fun.  The directory is turned in and hopefully I'll pass it out on Friday.  The book fair is coming in a month.  I'm excited about that!  I had a nice birthday, but I ran out of gas!  Uncle Drew saved me.  How embarrassing!

Mom - I went to Time Out for Women in Sacramento this weekend with Andria.  It was a wonderful weekend and I appreciate Travis covering everything at home so I could go. I subbed for the 1st time last Tuesday and it went really well.  They said I was the best sub they ever had.  :)

Parker - I had my first soccer game on Saturday.  It was exciting because it was our 1st game and we won 5-1.  I scored 3 goals and had one assist.  Football season started.  My fantasy team is awesome but we lost our first game.  It's the Book Fair at Sequoia this week.

Conner - We won my first soccer game, 201.  I scored one goal and the other Conner scored the second goal.  I am the Star Student this week.

Calissa - I'm excited to buy a High School Musical book.  I will get one if I get 4 weeks worth of green cards.

Dad - We have one softball game left this season.  If we win, we go to the playoffs.  Seminary has started and is going well, but it's early!

September 1, 2008

Conner - We started school on Tuesday.  My teacher is Mrs. Urias.  Soccer games are starting on Saturday.  My soccer team is pretty good.

Parker - We started school. I'm in 6th grade.  It's pretty cool.  It's a little weird going to different classes.  School lunches are good.  Soccer games are starting soon.  We saw Twinkle's kittens today.  They were awesome. My favorite was either Twix or Tiger Lily. I have an awesome fantasy football team.

Mom - I'm subbing tomorrow for the first time.  I'm excited and a little nervous.  I'm going to Time Out for Women on Friday and Saturday with Andria Pulu.  I'm excited about that!

Dad - It's time to start seminary.  I have a talk on Sunday.  It was extra long since the other speaker was sick.  We won our last softball game.

Calissa - I started 1st grade.  I really like the kittens and Twinkle.  The kittens are Tiger Lily, Teddy Bear, Tank, and Twix. Twix was the best.

Calissa - I found out who my teacher is going to be this week.  I have Ms. Prichard.  She might throw me in the garbage can or sit on me.  Kyrsten is on my soccer team.  We went camping.  We went swimming at Eli and Naomi's house.  We rode on scooters while we were camping.  My lesson was about obeying the law.

Parker - I'm going to Sequoia Middle School. It seems like I have good teachers.  We went camping and rode our scooters and had S'mores.  Tomorrow is the last day of summer vacation.  It went by too fast.  I like what they have for lunch at Sequoia.  We're saving up for a Wii and Rock Band.

Conner - We went camping.  We rode our scooters.  There was a pretty big hill.  We had s'mores and hot chocolate.  It was fun. I have a ton of money from my birthday.  I have $107.  My new teacher is Mrs. Urias.  No one in our family has had her before.  My classroom is right next to Calissa's.

Dad - We went to an A's game last week.  We had a nice time camping.  Seminary starts next week.

Mom - I'm ready for the kids to go back to school.  I'm excited about subbing, but a little nervous too.  We got the plan for the backyard and are excited about putting it all in.  Hopefully it's not too expensive!

Calissa - We like to play on-line with our Webkinz.  Mine is a black cat named Anna. I bought my school supplies today. I'm starting soccer hopefully this week.  We need to feed our pets and it's really fun to do stuff with it on the computer.

Conner - My Webkinz is a Dalmatian Dog.  I bought a bed, a cool bathtub, and a car.  My birthday is going to be on Saturday.  My party is at Chuck E Cheese on Monday.  We bought all our school stuff today.  My Webkinz is doing really good.

Parker - Twinkle came into the house for one night and then she went to the Hadley's.  On Saturday we watched National Treasure Book of Secrets.  We washed the cars and went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  I helped mom play Scramble and Word Twist on Facebook.

Dad - We won our softball game 21-3. We're pet-less again. My golf tournament was Saturday.  We had lots of fun and lots of prizes.  We came in 5th.

Mom - I've been lazy. I've been blogging.

Dad - We had a fun time on our trip to Utah.  Our golf tournament is coming up on Saturday.  I tried to find out if our softball team won while I was gone, but it wasn't posted.

Conner - I'm going to have my birthday soon at Chuck E Cheese.  We went to Utah last week - it was really fun.  We played Rock Band at Jarom and Eisley's house.  I was bass & Parker was guitar.  We were pretty good.  Parker did medium. I kind of did medium.  Soccer is starting soon.

Parker - We went to Utah.  It was a long drive.  We had lots and lots and lots of fun with our cousins.  We saw the movie, Wall-E and my scout leader's name is in the credits (Trent Crow).  We had lots of fun in the sleepover at Jarom and Eisley's house.  We bought NBA Live 06 for the Game Cube. We bought a new baseball bat and played with it on Saturday.

Calissa - I got a bear at Brookstone.  We went to the movie Wall-E.  We went swimming in Bountiful.  I went down the water slide about 40 times.  We had fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa Burr's house.

Mom - It's nice to be home from our vacation and sleep in our own beds.  We have a cat that's adopted us - it was very happy to have us home yesterday.  It wants to come in our house and wants attention.  It meowed a lot yesterday.

Parker - I went to Tahoe with Trever last week.  We had a lot of fun.  We beat Mario Party 5 and Mario Kart.  We lost both of our games in All-stars.  I was 2 for 4.  I'm going to basketball camp at De La Salle this week. I got some glasses today for the first time.

Calissa - I played at Kaitlyn's house and Kyrsten is coming over tomorrow.  We have a cat in our backyard - I named it Twinkle.

Conner - Miles is coming over tomorrow.  I was sick last week - throwing up. We went to Chuck E Cheese on Saturday - it was fun and we got lots of tickets.  We're doing swimming lessons and I'm learning the breast stroke.

Mom - I started a blog - it's fun.  I also joined Facebook. I've been cleaning out rooms and catching up on scrapbooks.  We're headed to Utah this weekend.

Dad - We lost our first softball game of the summer.  The landscape architect is coming over on Wednesday to start on plans for our backyard.  We're excited but nervous too.

June 23, 2008

Conner - I got sick yesterday.  We had Cub Scout Day Camp last week.  We had lots of fun, but it was really hot.  Christopher had his birthday party on Friday.  My friend Tyler comes over on Wednesday.

Parker - I was a Junior Helper at Day Camp.  I got sick Wednesday and Thursday.  I went to the doctor and got 4 shots today - they hurt.  I had a spacer put in my mouth.  I might have to get glasses.  I got blisters on my feet at Uncle Drew's house while we were swimming.

Calissa - I'm going to Emma's house tomorrow.  I was with the Tags at Day Camp.

Dad - I'm going golfing tomorrow.  I'm enjoying coaching Parker's team for All-Stars.  I've been getting caught up with everything at work lately.

Mom - I survived Day Camp and the end of school activities.  I did teacher gifts baseball DVD's, Kindergarten Olympics, etc.

June 1, 2008

Mom - My recital is coming up this weekend.  I'm working on DVD's for the boys baseball team, pillows for the teachers and getting ready for the piano recital.

Conner - We almost won vs. the Yankees on Saturday.  Uncle Drew helped coach my team on Saturday because dad wasn't there.  We went to Father and Son's Basketball camp at BYU. It was lots of fun. Uncle Kevin and I were together.  I'm sick this weekend.

Parker - We had Basketball Camp.  It was a lot of fun. We got to see Grandma and Grandpa Burr in Utah. We had our 11 year old overnight camp out.  We sharpened our ax and did lashings. We had a campfire and did skits, songs, etc. It was a lot of fun. I got all 4's on my State Report and all 4's on my poems.

Calissa - My birthday was last Sunday. My birthday party will be on Saturday.  I got a CD player and a new CD and some new clothes.  I was star of the week last week.

Dad - Seminary is over for this year.  Our softball team won our last two games.  I had a nice time at the Father and Son's BB camp at BYU.
