December 7, 2009

Conner - I went to Kyle's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  I also went to Diana's birthday party at her house.  There was a piñata. I knocked it down my 2nd time.  We had our ward Christmas party on Saturday.

Calissa - My soccer coach came by last night.  I spent 2 days at Grandma's house.  We went on a cruise and we had ice cream almost every day.

Parker - I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for 2 days because my parents left on my birthday (to go to Aunt MiQuelle's wedding).  I got an A on my math test.  I turned 13 last Tuesday.  Trever came over to spend the night and we played video games and had a blast.  I am very close to having $100.  I have $99.91.

Mom - We had a great time on the cruise!  We also had a nice time at Jordan and MiQuelle's wedding.  Elder Anderson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles married them.  We're busy getting ready for Christmas.

Dad - Our softball team came in 2nd place.  The cruise was awesome!  My youngest sister got married.

November 9, 2009

Conner - I went to Luca's birthday party on Saturday at Liberty Gymnastics. We did our PE testing today and I did the max for everything.  My mile time was 8:26 which was better than last time.  We have a day off school on Wednesday.  We're buying new shoes.

Calissa - I went to the soccer tournament on Saturday.  I saw Gabe, Soran, Lee, Jacob, Cauley, and Montsurrat there.  We were the shooting rubies.  I got new gloves today.  We had a substitute, Mr. Lapp.

Parker - Report cards came.  I got a 4.0 and 16 good comments.  4 days until the Disney Cruise!  I'm getting new shoes.  There is a slight chance I'll be getting my braces off.  I got a new DS for my month early birthday.

Dad - If you didn't know - we're going on a Disney Cruise.  Does anything else matter?

Mom - I'm sick again, but I'd better be better before the cruise! We sang in Stake Conference yesterday with the primary kids.  Fun times!!

November 2, 2009

Parker - I broke my arm, got a shot and am getting sick - all in the last six weeks! I got straight A's and got a 4.0.  The cruise is in 11 days!

Conner - I had 3 soccer games on Saturday.  We won our first and lost the last two. We just found out today that I didn't make it into the tournament. I'm going to Luca's birthday party on Saturday at Liberty Gymnastics.  I got my flu shot and was really good so I got $5.

Mom - Book Fair has come and gone.  It was lots of fun and lots of work. I've been subbing a lot since school started.  Now, we're getting ready for the cruise!

Dad - We're going on a cruise in 11 days! Our softball team is 3-0.

Calissa - I had a game on Saturday vs. the Kixy Chicks. They won 3-1.  I got a flu shot and I was really bad so I didn't get any money.

Parker - I had one game this week.  We lost 6-2.  I scored one goal off a kick outside the penalty box.  I went to Priesthood meeting last night and Pres. Chapman, Pres. Hunt, and Bro. Faires spoke.  School is going well.  For my music video we might do the song, "Manah, Manah" from Sesame Street.

Conner - I had a game on Saturday and we tied it in the 4th quarter.  School is going well.  I'm getting into the routine of what we have to do each morning at school.  I went to Miles' house on Friday.  We played a lot and I got to stay until 7:30 pm.  We had one of my favorite dinners tonight - Crock Pot Chicken.

Calissa - I lost a tooth yesterday.  My Grandma pulled it out - again.  I won my soccer game on Saturday.

Mom - I've been subbing quite a bit.  The Primary Program is this week.  I'll be glad when it's over.  I'm getting started on Book Fair things and I think I might be getting sick.

Dad - We won our last softball game.  MiQuelle is getting married in December so we are going on a trip.

Calissa - I had my first soccer game on Saturday.  My 2nd game will be tomorrow night at 6 pm.

Parker - I had my first soccer game yesterday.  We tied and won at the same time. I had two assists.  I had a campout on Friday night with Tyler & Nathan.  We slept under the stars and got rained on.  In the morning we saw lots and lots of lightning.  We had a ward activity and did tug of war and a 3-legged race.  I'm very tired.

Conner - I had my first soccer game. We tied 3-3.  I played 3 quarters and I scored twice.  I really like 4th grade. I stayed home sick on Thursday,  I have $73 saved up. We're going on a Disney Cruise in November.

Mom - It was my birthday on Friday. I had a good day. Mani/Pedi and lunch.  The family gave me a GPS system, a scrapbook computer program and a new book.  It was a great day. I also subbed on Tuesday in the Special Day Class.

Dad - I got my stitches out this week from my surgery.  BYU is ranked #7 in Football.  I refereed my first soccer game of the season.

Calissa - I cleaned my room today.  I started school last Monday and I like my new classmates.  Kaitlyn is in my class.

Conner - We started school and I like my two teachers. I like the kids in my class.  4th grade isn't as hard as I thought. I spent 3 Game Stop gift cards today. I bought Wii Sports Resort and another motion plus controller so two people can play. We saw "Shorts" today and there was a guy in the movie who had the same shirt as me.

Parker - On Saturday we went to the Pulu's house and swam and played there the whole day.  BYU beat #3 Oklahoma in College Football. It was very exciting! School started. My favorite class is either Hands on Technology or GATE Science.  We saw "Shorts" today.

Mom - School has started.  I subbed on Friday, the 5th day of school.  I was surprised to get a call that soon, but it went well.  Even with 31 first graders! I'm working on Book Fair and Library volunteers.

Dad - I had my cyst taken out last week and get my stitches taken out tomorrow.  We had a fun time this weekend and now it's time to go back to work.

Parker - We started soccer and my team is called "Rust."  I gave a talk in church about agency a couple of weeks ago. School starts tomorrow - Yay and no!  I have Mr. Cook as my Core teacher.

Conner - We started soccer.  My team name is the Comets.  We're rusty orange like Parker's team. I had my birthday party on the 22nd. We played baseball, soccer, and flag football.  School is starting tomorrow. My teachers are Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Wright.

Dad - I'm having my bump taken off my ear tomorrow.  Our softball team is in 3rd place.  I got to speak in church today. I'm done conducting for a while.

Calissa - We had our "baseball singing review game" today at church. Our final score was 11-3. We got Laughy Taffee at the end.  We got M&M's from Sister von Savoye today.  My teacher is Ms. Petty.

Mom - School starts tomorrow.  I'm working on getting Library Volunteers and Book Fair Planning. This is a busy week coming up!  My birthday is in a few weeks.

Parker - I had scout camp a couple of weeks ago.  It was lots of fun.  My favorite Merit Badge was swimming or Mammal study and my least favorite was Astronomy or Soil & Water.  I saw the 4th and 5th Harry Potter movies at Grandma's house and I went with Grandma and Conner to the movies to see the 6th.  It was very good.  I gave a talk on agency last Sunday.

Conner - I went to the movies with Parker and Grandma to see the 6th Harry Potter movie.  I had my 1st soccer practice and only me and one other person came.  I had two friends come over.  Miles and Christian,  My birthday was yesterday and I got a new bike, a new video game, 2 new books, a gift card (2, $20 to Game Stop), and some new clothes.

Calissa - I had Kaitlyn over today and then I saw her at the pool today too.  Tonight was my first soccer practice.  Conner got Lego Indian Jones Wii game for his birthday.  I'm getting better at gymnastics.  I can do beautiful candlesticks.

Dad - I got to go golfing a bunch of times this summer.  I've gotten 90 twice.  Went to my 20 year HS reunion.  We've had raccoon problems.

Mom - We've had a fun summer so far.  We've gone to Utah, Pismo Beach, and done some fun things with the family.  We joined Gehringer pool this summer and have spent a lot of time there.  School starts in 3 weeks!  Yikes!!!

Parker - We had a double header on May 30th.  We beat the A's 8-7 and the Yankee's 17-11.  My team party is on Wednesday.  School is out on Wednesday also.  My countries and capitals test and Funky Field Day was on Friday.

Dad - Our softball team made it to the playoffs.  We lost.  Seminary is over for another year. We got a new computer on Friday.

Mom - I ran a 5K on May 30th.  I did it in 29:16.  I finished 119th out of 750 or so and 20th in my age group.  My piano recital was on Friday night. I've been trying to finish end of year projects for the teachers and baseball DVD's.  Tons of fun, but busy, busy, busy!

Calissa - We had the piano recital on Friday. I had my birthday party yesterday.  Emma, Levi, Kyrsten, Kaitlyn, Ashara, Cameron, Lauren, Rachel, and Naomi came.  We had it at the gymnastics place. My birthday was on May 25th and I got a new bike, Disney's Sing It, and some clothes.  I turned 7!

Conner - I went to Calissa's birthday party.  I played a baseball game on Saturday.  We lost, but won on Thursday so we came in 1st place!  We had our recital on Friday.  I played "French Lullaby," and "Caravan."  We had Funky Field Day and our song flute performance last Wednesday.

Parker - I had a couple of baseball games. We lost them all.  School is ending in 3-4 weeks.  I went to Trever's birthday party on Friday.  It was at Gehringer Pool.  I slept over at his house.

Calissa - I went to Kyrsten's birthday party last Saturday at Build A Bear.  I'm going to do the class presentation next Sunday at church.

Mom - I just finished all the things for teacher appreciation week at school.  I'm busy, busy, busy with subbing, baseball DVD's, and sewing quilts for the teachers. I hope to get everything done!!!!  It's very hot!

Conner - Last week we had out family spotlight.  It was Cinco de Mayo - we had quesadillas.  We went to dad's softball game on Wednesday night.  I went to Calissa's gymnastics on Friday and made a new friend.

Dad - We played a double header for softball.  We won one and lost one.  9 more days of seminary.

Dad - We won our softball game this week.  My knee was still pretty swollen the day after, so I went to the doctor and had it drained.  It feels much better now.  Work has been going well - I'm much more caught up than before.

Parker - I went home sick from school on Friday. I'm going to go back on Tuesday (tomorrow). Our game on Saturday was rained out.  We started STAR testing today, so I will have to make it up.

Conner - Our game on Saturday was stopped because of rain. I have a game tomorrow.  I'm going to buy a flower at the Mother's Day sale on Friday. We got tickets to go see Wicked on July 22nd.

Calissa - I went to Emma's birthday party on Saturday.  My birthday is in 21 days. We're learning a new Mother's Day song. 

Mom - Not here - on snack shack duty tonight.

Conner - I had a game on Saturday.  We lost. We had Open House on Wednesday.  It was fun and I got a cookie in my class.  Star Testing starts this week.  We're doing our practice Star Test right now.

Calissa - We made cookies today. It's almost my birthday and I will turn 7 on May 25th.  My flat Calissa came back from visiting Abby's house.  She had a really fun time.

Parker - I had two games this week. We lost them both, but we should have won on Saturday (it was really close),  I did the Hit, Pitch, and Run competition on Saturday and did pretty well. I did baptisms for the dead at the Oakland Temple on Thursday night.  We were at the ballpark for 8 hours on Saturday.  I was set apart today as 1st counselor in the Deacons Quorum today.

Mom - Busy week - I've been running 3 days a week to get ready for the See Jane Run on May 30th.  I've been subbing and I bought fabric for quilts for the teachers.  I'm going to start taping the boys' baseball games.

Dad - Only 5 more weeks of Seminary.  Didn't play softball this week because we had conflicts. My knee swelled up yesterday.

Parker - Last week was Spring Break.  I slept in a lot.  We went to Chuck E Cheeses on Tuesday.  We saw the A's game. They got killed.  We went Miniature Golfing at Scandia on Friday.  I got 3 hole in ones.  I won a purple ball. I had a double header on Saturday and I pitched. I'm the first counselor in the Deacon's Quorum Presidency now.  We're doing baptisms for the dead on Thursday at the Oakland temple.  It's very hot today.

Conner - We had Spring Break.  On Tuesday we went to Chuck E Cheese. It was really fun.  On Wednesday we went to the $2 ticket A's game.  On Thursday we went to the park with the Pulu's.  On Friday we went to Scandia and played a lot of games and miniature golf. On Saturday Parker had a double header and we were at the ball field for 7 hours.

Calissa - We went miniature golfing.  I got a hole in one on the castle. We played a lot of games. We went to Chuck E Cheese.  I tried the King Kong with Parker and Conner.  I got to see Naomi on Thursday and got to the park with them.  We went back to school today.  I gave a talk on Sunday.

Dad - I took a couple of days off work this week to do some stuff with the family.  We had a fun time.  We won our softball game last week (and dad made an amazing catch at shortstop - dope is what the scorekeepers called it). Six more weeks of seminary.

Mom - The kids went back to school today.  I spoke in church on Easter about charity.  I'm getting ready to start quilts for the kids' teachers.  I've also been helping our with Measure P.

April 5, 2009

Conner - We won our game on Saturday 34-11.  I went to Q-Zar for a birthday party for Joey and Kaipo got hurt.  He had a party at his house after.  I got to stay till 9 pm.  We won our other game we had against the White Sox. We had a practice on Friday and Parker got to help.  We got Cody out 3 times.

Parker - We almost won our 1st game on Saturday 7-8.  I got a triple.  We went to Dairy Queen after because our coach said it was our best game yet.  I got my report card on Friday. I got a 4.0 again.  Spring Break is coming up.  We watched General Conference and had cinnamon rolls.

Dad - We're going to see Wicked this week.  We enjoyed watching conference today.

Mom - I've been busy subbing.  We had baseball 6 days in a row this last week. I'm super excited to see Wicked.

Calissa - I wrote mom and dad long notes today. I got 3 E's on my report card and all the rest S's. I'm going on a field trip to Christopher's Pizza tomorrow for lunch.  I get to make my own pizza.

March 29, 2009

Calissa - I've been at the baseball fields a lot for the boys' games. I'm doing a state report at school on Utah.  I play a lot with my friends at the baseball game.

Conner - I'm doing a biography report on Derek Jeter.  I finished my animal report on the great white shark and shared it.  I got 250/250 points on it.  I had a baseball game on Monday and Thursday. I won both of them 21-8 and 14-12.  Next week is General Conference and we get to have cinnamon rolls.

Mom - I score kept two of Parker's games.  I had fun doing it.  I've been subbing one or two days a week and am having lots of fun. I haven't been cooking a lot lately because of baseball.

Parker - I had two games this week.  We lost them both. I went to a Qzar party on Saturday for Andrew Perkins-Durkee. It was a lot of fun.  I went on a scout campout on Friday/Saturday.  We hiked to the top of Mt. Diablo and we could see almost to our house. A dog chased us on the way back. Life is good.

Dad - We won our softball game this week 10-4. I went on the overnighter with Parker. One of our friends had a heart attack, but he's doing better.

March 22, 2009

Calissa - I was sick this week and I still have a cough.  We got 18 people in class on color day.  14 of us dressed up wearing purple on Friday.

Conner - We won our 2nd game 12-11.  I got bunted in to tie the game.  I finished my animal report on the great white shark.  I might share about it tomorrow.  Sis. Tolman is moving to Idaho.

Parker - I had two games.  We lost both (to the A's @ Dodgers). I went to Nathan's birthday party at Scandia.  We played miniature golf and arcade games.

Mom - I didn't sub at all last week.  I had a very quiet week at home.

Dad - We lost our 1st softball game.  We're hanging out at the baseball fields a lot.

March 15, 2009

 Calissa - It's almost Sam-O's birthday and St. Patrick's Day (Aunt MiQuelle's birthday).  We made cards for them today.  I'm not feeling good.  I went on a field trip to the Jelly Belly Factory.

Parker - We've had some practice games against the Mets & Dodgers.  We had Opening Day yesterday.  I'm on the Rockies.  I went to Trever's house yesterday to play basketball.

Conner - Opening Day was yesterday.  I'm on the Rays.  We have a pretty good team this year.  For the hit-a-thon I hit it 95 feet.  I went on my 2nd field trip.  It was to the Percussion Discussion.  I got my Bear, a bead and a gold arrow point at Pack meeting.  St. Patrick's Day is coming.

Dad - Our softball season is starting up and basketball is over.  I got a bonus at work.  It was nice.

Mom - Things are really busy since baseball has started and it's stopped raining.  I've been running to get ready for a 5K in May.

March 2, 2009

 Calissa - I had my first sleepover on Friday night at Kyrsten's house.  We had rainy day recess today.  I was a raindrop in the Weather Play and my mom recorded my song.

Parker - I went to my first Valentine's Day Dance.  It was a lot of fun.  We went to Pismo Beach.  We explored on the beach and swam in the pool.  We had our Masterclass and I played "Black Forest Polka."  I went on a snow camp out. We got lost and didn't get there until 10:30 at night.  I got excited today because the nurse at the orthodontist said I might get my braces off early.

Conner - I've started practicing for baseball. I'm on the minor Rays.  They are building a new Chuck E Cheese in Concord.  Mom and I went on a date to the Elephant Bar, watched American Idol, and I got to sleep in Mom and Dad's bed.  Today is Dr. Seuss's birthday. We ate green eggs and read the book.

Mom - I went to Utah for my Grandma's 85th surprise 85th birthday party.  It was nice to see some family that I haven't seen for a while.  It was also nice to have a kid free weekend.

Dad - The snow camp was INTERESTING! We had an adult ward party of Name That Tune.

February 1, 2009

Parker - I got my report card on Friday.  I got straight A's - a 4.0 SPA.  On Saturday I went to watch try outs with Dad and Conner.  I got a new sleeping bag and Pokemon game for the DS.  I am writing a business letter to Nike and the business man's name is Mr. Parker.

Mom - I've been having fun on the Wii Fit this last week.  I subbed a couple of days and have been pretty busy.  I'm going to Great Grandma Maynard's surprise 85th birthday party in a couple of weeks in Utah.

Dad - We've won 5 games in a row for basketball.  I went on Calissa's field trip to see Rumpelstiltskin on Wednesday.

Conner - I made ice cream with Calissa's class on Friday.  I also had a popcorn party the same day.  On Saturday I went with Parker & Dad to baseball tryouts.  I lost another tooth on the bottom.  I'm doing an animal report on the Great White Shark, the same one Parker did in 3rd grade.  We have 2, 3-day weekends the next couple of weeks.

Calissa - I get to keep doing gymnastics because I did better last week.  Dad's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks.  We have two Monday holidays coming up.  We are going to Pismo Beach on Friday!!

January 26, 2009

Conner - We had tryouts last weekend for baseball.  I did pretty good.  I started my multiplication tall T's today.  I passed the time 2's.  I had the Pinewood Derby.  It was a ton of fun. My car looked like a shark.  I don't know which place I came in.

Calissa - I started gymnastics on Friday.  I really like it.  Kyrsten and I are going to play Club Penguin and Webkinz tomorrow.

Mom - We got a Wii Fit.  It's a lot of fun.  I've been subbing a lot and have been keeping pretty busy.  I did some scrapbooking.

Parker - I did baptisms for the dead at the Sacramento Temple on Saturday with Tyler Rossi and his family. It was a really good experience.  Grandpa and mom came too.  The 2nd quarter just ended at school.  I got my new classes.  Today I went to Folktales for the 1st time in Ms. Moussa's class.  It was a lot of fun.  We started flag tag for PE.  It's a lot of fun.

Dad - I found out I have an avulsion fracture in my thumb from just over a month ago.  We won our basketball game on Saturday with only four people.

Calissa - I got 100% on my spelling test. I almost finished my math blast.  I only missed 9.  Grandpa came for dinner.  My tooth is coming in .  I'm starting gymnastics soon!

Conner - Tryouts are in a week.  I am going to a Warriors game with Miles on Wednesday.  They are going verses the Kings.  The Pinewood derby is on Thursday.

Mom - I've been substituting lately.  I'm getting caught up with things at home.  I'm trying to lose 5 pounds.

Parker - I played o the Wii a lot.  My favorite thing is bowling on Wii Sports.  I got my progress report back for math and it is 97.81%.  My basketball team won in double overtime.

Dad - We won our first basketball game 72-34.  I scored 32 points.  Seminary started again.

January 5, 2009

Parker - School started again today.  I can't believe it went by so quickly.  For Christmas we got a Wii and a bunch of games for the Wii.  We went to Utah and had lots of fun with our cousins.  We went tubing down an awesome hill and got some air on a jump.  We bought Rock Band 2 and 2 sports games with our money.

Conner - We got a Wii for Christmas.  We were saving up for one, but we got one instead.  Our games are really cool.  Our favorite son in Rock Band 2 is "Eye of the Tiger." Today was our first day back for school.

Calissa - I got Cake Mania for the Wii.  It is kind of hard.  I had lots of fun tubing in Utah.  I got to go by myself.  We saw Abby and our other cousins.

Mom - We had a great Christmas with my family - all 19 of us.  We got to got to Kate McNeil's wedding and reception.  We then went to Utah for a week.  We saw "Bedtime Stories" and went Ice Skating on New Year's Eve.  It's nice to be home and sleeping in my own bed again.

Dad - I was able to go skiing in Utah.  We had a fun time both in California and Utah.  It's hard to go back to work, seminary, etc. after having a couple of weeks off.
